Throughout Dillon’s time with Road & Rail Services, he has excelled at all aspects of his job, and his desire to learn and do more has been noticeable from the beginning. He’s dedicated to safety, working to the highest standards so that coworkers and customers alike know his work is being completed safely and correctly.
And he’s dedicated to his team! Whatever he is doing, if another team member needs help with something he’s there to assist. Regardless of his position, if mechanical or repair work is needed, he’s always been ready to volunteer. Finally, he’s dedicated to self-improvement. His initiative and focus are very impressive, and he’s consistently been trusted with more responsibility over the years.
In the words of manager John Buffett, “He has been easy to teach and easier to coach. Dillon’s ability to work independently is awesome. For example, if Dillon is our AAR repairman for the day, follow up will only result in “wow, I wish I had more Dillons”. Our more seasoned repairmen will ask me if Dillon is available to work with them. Dillon will continuously set the standard for the team.”
