Road & Rail Services, Inc., a Louisville, Kentucky-based leading provider of rail related services in North America, was recently awarded the 2015 Mosaic Platinum Safety Award, recognizing its excellence in safety leadership and performance for its operations in Bone Valley, Florida by fertilizer producer, Mosaic Co. The Bone Valley team, which is led by Chris Purdy, Aaron Ellingsworth, and Thomas Ruff, is committed to raising the bar for safety performance.
The award is given to companies that have met established criteria for safety performance and earned Mosaic’s gold standard award for five or more years. Road & Rail Services, who is continuously recognized for its commitment to safety, was the only rail-related contractor to receive a Mosaic Award for 2015. They were among approximately 2% of contractors network-wide — out of over 700 — to receive this prestigious award.
